Sit down, let’s talk about death

It’s something we never really talk about, but when you are interpreting a cemetery it’s kind of top of the list! With help from the team of the United Synagogue this is exactly what we did to breakdown those barriers and discovered it's more about a celebration of Life. It was a wonderful experience to learn about the rituals of the Tahara, burial stories and experiences of this London Jewish community. The interviews are available to view on a new interactive touch screen in the new visitor centre at Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
