Was the Duke of Wellington a cad & bounder?

We probably ultimately will never know! Through letters, portraits on loan, Wellington, Women and Friendship exhibition opens at Apsley House, London, presents an intimate picture of a very public life; revealing Wellington's social circle, his marriage and how his friendships with women could sometimes provoke rumour and gossip. We worked closely with the Keeper of the Wellington Collection Josephine Oxley in developing the storylines interpretive strategy and graphic interpretation.
