Last Chance to see Women in the Frame Exhibition at Honeywood Museum closing 20th October 2018

A small high street photographer’s studio in Sutton quietly documented the lives of ordinary local women during an extraordinary period of history. With funding from the Heritage Lottery, we helped Sutton Archives bring these women back to the forefront of the Borough’s history, celebrating their lives in this exhibition at Honeywood Museum, timed to coincide with the centenary of the 1918 Parliamentary Act that enabled women to vote in national elections for the first time.
